Sliced Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. vinegar
2 qt. water
1 c. coarse salt
2 tsp. alum
1 tsp. turmeric
pickles
mustard seed
fresh dill
Preparation
-
Boil first five ingredients; bring to a good boil.
Put pickles in jars.
Into each put 1 teaspoon mustard seed and a head of fresh dill.
Pour mixture over and seal.
Use medium size pickles and slice like hamburger slices.
