Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. buttery Wesson oil or 1 c. regular Wesson oil plus 2 tsp. butter flavoring
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt and set aside.
Mix together remaining ingredients well, then add flour mixture.
Roll into small balls and place onto greased cookie sheet.
Press with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned, about 10 to 12 minutes.
