Tortilla Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans chicken broth (water added)
    4 to 6 tortillas, cut into 1-inch wide strips and fried in oil to make crispy
    2 green onions, chopped
    grated sharp cheese
Preparation
    Make your own chicken
    broth
    or
    use canned.
    Heat the chicken broth to a boil,
    then turn down to a simmer.
    Add the amount of tortilla strips
    you want to.
    Don't simmer too long or strips will become
    mushy.
    Ladle
    into bowls and add green onions and sprinkle with
    cheese.
    Sometimes I will mix everything into the soup and bring it to a boil, remove it from the heat and serve.
