Old Fashioned Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in bite size pieces
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 to 1 c. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In large Dutch oven, brown sausage pieces in butter.
    Drain off all but 1 tablespoon drippings.
    Add all other ingredients, except egg yolk, flour and milk.
    Bring to boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender.
    Mix yolk and flour, stir until pea sized and crumbly.
    Add to soup, stir constantly, cook 2 minutes.
    Add milk and heat through.
