Pecan Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    20 saltines (Ritz)
    1/2 to 1 c. pecans
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add baking powder and beat more. Fold in vanilla, sugar, crackers and pecans.
    Place in greased pie plate and bake 30 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Let cool; cover with 1/2 pint cream, whipped.
