Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. Aunt Jemima self-rising white corn meal
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped

Preparation

Combine all items; mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil (375\u00b0), frying only a few at a time until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Makes 2 dozen.
