Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. crushed cereal flakes
2 c. quick oats
Preparation

Combine shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla; mix well.
In another bowl, mix dry ingredients and add to above mixture.
Mix all ingredients and form in balls the size of a walnut.
Press flat on pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes.
