Cheesy Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 oz. American cheese, diced
    1 c. soft bread crumbs (1 1/4 slices)
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper (1/4 tsp.)
    1/4 tsp. diced crushed thyme
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
Preparation
    May use all ground beef.
    Cook onion and green pepper in microwave until tender;
    drain.
    Stir together onions, pepper, tomato sauce, eggs, cheese, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, thyme. Add ground meat; mix well.
    Shape into loaf in baking dish (9 x 13).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 8 to 10.
