Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. round steak, cut into 2 x 7/8-inch strips
    1/2 c. butter
    sprinkle of garlic powder
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 green peppers, cut into thin strips
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add beef to melted butter in skillet.
    Sprinkle with garlic. Cook, stirring until browned.
    Remove meat.
    Add onions and green peppers.
    Saute for 2 minutes.
    Return meat to pan with tomatoes and bouillon cube.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
    Stir into meat mixture.
    Cook until thickened.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
