Hot Pear Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 large leek, chopped
    3 pears, peeled, cored and quartered
    1/2 c. white wine (dry)
    3 c. chicken stock
    2 tsp. tarragon or chervil (fresh)
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Simmer leeks and butter, covered, for 15 minutes.
    Add pears and wine and bring to boil (until pears are cooked).
    Puree all together.
    Strain, if needed.
    Add remaining ingredients to puree. Simmer until heated through.
