Chicken Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. basil
    shredded Mozzarella cheese
    2 lb. chicken parts
    shortening
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano flakes
Preparation
    Beat egg and one tablespoon water.
    Roll chicken in egg, then in bread crumbs.
    Brown in skillet with the small amount of shortening.
    Stir in soup, one-quarter cup water, onion and seasonings.
    Cover and cook on low heat about 30 minutes or until done.
    Stir occasionally.
    Sprinkle with cheese; heat until cheese melts.
    Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
    Add additional oregano if desired.
