Cocoa Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cold water
    1 c. hot water
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine in saucepan the sugar, cocoa, salt and cold water to make a paste.
    Blend in hot water.
    Simmer 4 to 6 minutes, stirring until thick and smooth.
    Cool and stir in vanilla extract.
