Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 apples
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. orange juice
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel apples and cut into small chunks, about the size of a thimble.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Mix and set aside. Beat remaining ingredients together until smooth and pour half of the batter into a greased tube pan. Arrange 1/2 of the apple mixture over the batter. Pour in remaining batter and top with the rest of apple mixture. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cake should be a golden brown in color. Remove and let cool a few minutes. Then remove from the pan and let cool on the rack.
