Anadama Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. oil or shortening
    1/2 c. molasses (I use sorghum)
    3 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. or cakes yeast
    5 to 6 c. bread flour
Preparation
    Place cornmeal, oil, molasses and salt in large mixing bowl. Stir to mix and pour the two cups of boiling water over all.
    Let cool.
    Add the yeast.
    Stir.
    Add 5 or 6 cups of bread flour. Knead lightly.
    Place in greased bowl.
    Let rise until doubled in bulk.
    Knead again and place in 2 greased loaf pans.
    Let rise again until double.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0, until bread pulls away from the sides of pan.
    Remove from pan; rub butter or oleo on top and sides.
    Cool on cake racks.
