Yellow Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. small squash, sliced crossways
    6 medium onions, coarse chopped
    3 bell peppers, coarse chopped
    1/2 c. salt
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Have 12 pint jars washed and sterilized.
    Bring to a full boil; pack and seal.
    Makes 12 pints.
