Apple Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large apples
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Pare, core and slice apples into deep casserole.
Mix together lemon juice, water, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of the sugar.
Add to apples.
Combine remaining sugar with flour and salt; work in the butter with a pastry blender or finger tips until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
Sprinkle this over apples and pat smooth.
