Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter (Judges 5:25)
3 c. sugar (Jeremiah 6:20)
3 1/2 c. flour (I Kings 4:22)
2 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
2 c. chopped dry figs (1 Samuel 30:12)
1 c. water (Genesis 24:17)
1 c. slivered almonds (Genesis 24:17)
6 eggs (Isaiah 10:14)
1 Tbsp. honey (Exodus 16:21)
1/8 tsp. salt (Leviticus 2:31)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves
