Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stew beef
    1 small turnip
    1 large onion
    10 to 12 carrots
    5 to 6 potatoes
Preparation
    In large kettle, put stew beef, turnip and onion.
    Boil on medium heat until turnip is tender.
    Add carrots and potatoes. Cook until carrots and potatoes are done.
