Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2/3 c. liquid (beet) juice plus water
1/4 c. vinegar
1 (1 lb.) can cubed or sliced beets
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt and pepper.
Slowly blend in liquid and vinegar.
Bring to boil over medium heat.
Boil 1 minute.
Add beets and heat.
