Cardinal Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    raw beef suet
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. bird seed mixture
    1 c. green grapes
    1/2 tsp. sand or grit
Preparation
    In medium size bowl, mix bread crumbs, bird seed and grapes (cut up); set aside.
    Put suet through meat grinder, then melt in double boiler.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool until slightly hardened. Reheat and pour 1 1/2 cups over dry ingredients.
    Add sand; mix well.
    Turn into a foil loaf size pan.
    Refrigerate until firm. Place on feeder tray.
