Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (16 oz.) cans red beans
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    2 strips bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco
    pinch of ground thyme
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in 1-inch pieces
    6 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except rice and sausage in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer for 2 hours.
    Add sausage in the last 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
