Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. shortening, melted
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    nuts, dates or raisins (may be added)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Shape into 2 rolls and refrigerate overnight or freeze.
    Slice to 1/2-inch thick and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
