Very-Berry Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pt. strawberries, halved
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pt. blueberries
    1/2 pt. raspberries
    1 1/2 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    2 Tbsp. grated orange peel
Preparation
    About 2 hours before serving, gently toss strawberries with sugar in large bowl.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Just before serving, gently toss all berries together.
    In medium bowl, mix ice cream and orange peel.
    Mix and serve over berries.
    Serve in glass bowls to enjoy all the great colors.
