Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sage flavored pork sausage
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
6 Tbsp. flour
1 qt. milk
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of Worcestershire sauce
dash of hot pepper sauce
Preparation

Crumble sausage into large pan.
Cook over medium-low heat. Add onion.
Cook and stir until transparent.
Drain; discard all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
Stir in flour.
Cook over medium-low heat about 6 minutes or until mixture bubbles.
Stir in milk; add seasonings.
Cook, stirring, until thick.
Serve over biscuits. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
