Williamsburg Chicken 'N Ham Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, divided
2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. light cream
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
2 c. cubed cooked ham
3 c. cubed cooked chicken
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in saucepan; toss in bread crumbs.
Set aside.
In large saucepan, melt remaining butter.
Add onion and saute until tender.
Stir in flour and salt and cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in cream and milk.
Add sage.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil.
Remove from heat and stir in ham and chicken.
Pour mixture into 8 to 9-inch pie pan or quiche dish.
Top with bread crumbs.
Bake about 25 minutes or until mixture is bubbling and bread crumbs are brown.
Serves 6 to 8.
