Green Chile Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. good Cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
    1 c. chopped hot green chiles
    6 green onions with tops, minced
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 jar slivered pimentos
    mayonnaise
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients with enough mayonnaise to make a spreading consistency.
    It's best served at room temperature, even better the next day.
    Use crackers or bagels.
    Yields 3 cups.
