Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. instant potato flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. sage
Preparation

Wash, skin and cut up fryer.
Mix last 6 ingredients together in large bowl.
Heat enough oil in heavy, deep roasting pan so chicken will not be crowded while frying.
Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk.
Immediately roll in dry mixture and drop in very hot oil.
Drain on paper towels.
