Cheese Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls (8 roll size)
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
chopped pecans or walnuts
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
small amount of milk to thin
Preparation

Lightly grease a 10
x 15-inch pan.
Line bottom with 1 package of rolls.
(Flatten first with rolling pin.)
Beat together cheese, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla and lemon juice. Spread cheese mixture over the bottom crust and cover with the 2nd package of rolls.
Beat egg white and brush over top.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Ice while warm.
