Untossed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. spinach, chopped fine
    little salt, pepper and sugar
    1/2 lb. cooked crisp bacon, crumbled
    6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/2 head lettuce, torn in small bite size pieces
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen peas, cooked
    1 chopped sweet onion
    mayonnaise
    1/2 lb. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Sprinkle spinach with a little salt, pepper and sugar.
    Layer the first 6 ingredients` in bowl in given order.
    Spread top with mayonnaise.
    Be sure that the mayonnaise comes to the side of the dish to seal out air.
    Top with cheese.
    Do not toss!
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Spoon deeply to serve.
