Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and drained
    1/2 to 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 lb. Gruyere cheese, grated (you can use Swiss)
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. light cream
    1 tsp. salt
    nutmeg
    cayenne pepper
    ginger
    1 deep dish pie shell
Preparation
    Mix slightly beaten eggs with light cream and salt.
    Cook onion about 5 minutes in 1 tablespoon butter; add onion, cheese and crumbled bacon to egg mixture.
    Season with nutmeg, cayenne pepper and dash of ginger.
    Precook pie shell for about 8 to 10 minutes.
    Pour mixture into shell.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake 10 minutes at 450\u00b0; lower heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 30 to 45 minutes or until center is firm.
