Christmas Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Blend sugar, salt and evaporated milk.
    Cook to 332\u00b0 (soft ball stage).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla, butter and pecan halves. Beat just until candy begins to thicken.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto wax paper.
    (Work fast, for candy hardens quickly.)
    Yields 1 1/2 dozen pralines.
