Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. red Zinfandel wine
1 cinnamon stick
1 piece orange zest (7-inches long)
Preparation

Clean cranberries.
Combine sugar and wine in saucepan.
Heat on medium.
Stir to boil.
Add cranberries, cinnamon and orange zest.
Heat on high to boiling.
Simmer, partially covered, until berries burst (about 10 minutes).
Remove cinnamon and orange zest.
Pour into serving container and put in refrigerator until cool and hardened.
