Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    onion
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    1 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Wash and slice cucumbers; do not peel.
    Alternate with onion and pack in bowl and place in refrigerator (covered).
    Mix sugar, salt and mustard, then add vinegar, celery seed, pepper and salad oil.
    Mix salad oil 1/2 at a time so it will mix up well.
    Pour the mixture over cucumbers and onion and refrigerate until time to use.
    Make night before so it will season; will keep for 1 week.
