Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans yellow squash (medium size cans)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    cracker crumbs
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Drain and mash squash.
    Mix with other ingredients.
    Top with cracker crumbs and a little of the cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
