Black Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    2 c. sour milk
    3 c. flour
    1 c. raisins
    2 eggs
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. jam
    2 tsp. soda (in the milk)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix and bake at 375\u00b0.
    Makes a large layer cake.
    First beat eggs in large mixing bowl.
    Add creamed butter and jam, raisins and nuts.
    Sift together flour and dry ingredients, then dissolve soda in milk and add to wet mixture and sift in dry ingredients. Add vanilla and bake.
