Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter. Add pretzels. Mix well. Press in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Cool. Combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Cream until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over crust. Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water. Stir in strawberries. Chill until partially congealed. Spread over cream cheese. Chill until firm.
