Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks soft butter
    10 oz. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    2 c. Rice Krispies (or 3 small boxes)
Preparation
    In a mixer, combine butter and grated cheese.
    Sift flour, salt and red pepper together.
    Add to cheese mixture and blend.
    Add Rice Krispies.
    Mix. Dough will be stiff.
    Make a ball from approximately 1 teaspoon dough.
    Place balls on ungreased cookie sheet and press flat with a fork to look like a round wafer. Should fill 2 cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, until well done but not real brown.
