Crispy Tuna Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    2 (6 1/2 to 7 oz.) cans tuna, drained
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. canned consomme
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 c. dry bread crumbs (fine)
    finely crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except corn flake crumbs and mix well. Shape into small balls and roll in corn flake crumbs.
    Fry in hot deep oil (375\u00b0) until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
    These appetizers can be frozen up to 6 weeks and reheated for 15 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Yield: 4 dozen.
