Rice With Dates And Almonds - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. white rice (basmati)
1/4 cube butter
1/2 c. slivered almonds
3/4 c. cut dates
dash of salt
Preparation

Put the water on to boil; dash of salt in water.
Put the rice in boiling water; cover and turn fire low and cook 20 minutes or until the rice is done.
Simmer the cut dates in butter a few minutes.
Saute almonds in another pan in butter until they are a little brown.
Add the almonds and dates to the rice and serve.
