Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Combine flour, soda and salt. Blend into shortening mixture.
Stir in the chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 8 dozen.
