Indian Longhouse Method Of Smoking Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fish fillets
    butter
    lemon juice
    pepper
    garlic
Preparation
    Trim the ribs so that they are of approximately uniform thickness.
    This usually involves making a fillet by removing a strip of meat from one side.
    Make a superficial cut through the tough membrane between each pair of ribs.
    Place the meat in boiling water for 10 minutes.
    If you want to experiment, add some onions and/or spices to the water, including garlic, salt and pepper.
