Strawberry Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bag frozen strawberries (in syrup)
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    2 c. heavy cream
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 angel food cake
Preparation
    Bake cake and set aside. Put strawberry syrup in top of double boiler. Add gelatin and stir until it is dissolved. Add strawberries; stir. Then chill until thickened. Whip cream until stiff; add sugar. Fold cream into thickened strawberry mixture and then frost cake and chill several hours before serving.
