Celery Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. celery, cut in 1-inch slices
boiling water
salt
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. diced pimentos
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
Preparation

Mix celery, water chestnuts, cream of chicken soup and pimentos in a quart casserole dish. Toss bread crumbs with almonds and oleo. Sprinkle on top of celery mixture. Sprinkle remaining almonds on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes, until bubbly.
