Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
    Flour raisins and nuts.
    Add to mixture.
    Bake in 4 layers at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
