Mama'S Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, margarine or shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Grease\tcookie\tsheet.\tCream the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until it is
    light\tand
    fluffy.
    Add
    eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Sift the
    flour,
    cream
    of\ttartar, soda and salt together.
    Blend into creamed mixture.
    Combine cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar;\troll balls
    of dough into mixture to coat. Mash with fingers (this
    makes
    them
    pretty) or with a glass. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
