Microwave Almond Bark - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    2 c. whole, unsalted almonds
    2 (3 oz.) bars white chocolate
    colored sugar crystals
Preparation
    Melt semi-sweet chocolate pieces in microwave on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until shiny.
    Stir until smooth.
    Stir in 1 cup almonds; set aside.
    Melt white chocolate bars in microwave on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until shiny.
    Stir in 1 cup almonds; set aside.
    Alternately spoon dollops of each mixture, side by side, onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet, forming a thick layer of chocolate.
    With knife, cut and twist to create a marbleized effect.
    Top with sugar crystals.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Break into pieces.
    Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
