Short Paste(Pie Crust Or Pot Pie Top) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 level tsp. salt
    2 level tsp. Rumford baking powder
    1 c. lard
    about 1 1/2 c. ice water
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder; rub in lightly with the fingers the lard.
    Mix into
    a firm dough with the ice water and roll out once on a floured board.
    Handle as little as possible after mixing in ice water.
