Manhattan Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 slice bacon, diced
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    1 small potato, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped (with liquid)
    1/2 tsp. flavor enhancer
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 small ribs celery, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) can minced clams (with liquid)
    1/2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a skillet, fry bacon until lightly browned.
    Stir in onion, carrots, celery and potato.
    Cook until tender, stirring constantly.
    Add clams, tomatoes, parsley, flavor enhancer, salt and thyme.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Makes 2 servings.
