Jim'S French Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large potatoes (select a size that will yield 6 pieces about 1/2 x 3/4 x 5-inch from each potato)
    Pam or other spray shortening
Preparation
    Vigorously scrub the potatoes; do not peel.
    Arrange them loosely on a cookie sheet and place in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes (or place them on a microwave-safe plate and nuke on High for 12 minutes).
    Spray lightly with Pam and place under broiler until brown (3 to 5 minutes).
