Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage, shredded (about 10 c.)
    4 carrots, shredded
    2 c. sugar or to taste
    2 c. mayonnaise or desired amount
    1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
    Chill for several hours.
